Attached is a picture of one of a pair of ruby/diamond earrings that I thought was quite nice.  I got the picture from this page:  http://www.thefacetscollection.com/item.cfm?item_id=3867

I like the look of this pair of earrings, but am looking for studs rather than drops, and I definitely don't want the little diamond "bow" on top.

Does anyone have any suggestions about where I might find such a thing?  I need them in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks,
afogd

I'd call Facets and ask for a pair to be made w/o the bow.

Yup call Facets, ask for Isaac.  He can make up what ever you want.

The style is about as classic as they get.  For the sort of cash, I would be looking for some rather nice rubies, and those may not come ready set off the rack, at least not in every shop.  The earrings at Signedpieces make more of a case for the cute settings than the rubies... unless the picture trully makes them look allot worse than they are.

I don't know how the things at Amazon look like in person.  Good quality ruby is a bit of adventure, even if it is not very over the top fine (=rare).

My 2c.

Speaking of reds... maybe something like these could do the trick?

And then... there isn't much bad to say about nicely cut and matched pairs of red spinel. Like these at Dutton Diamonds

I am a bit affraid to guess how much these are... the screenshot made the image from Ricahrd Wise's flash look pretty bad. There is no quote... but it can't hurt to ask, IMO.
