fatafelice Ideal Rock Total Posts: 1,746 Last Post: 11/21/2009 Member Since: 7/27/2004	I'm starting a new thread simply because the other one was a little negative and I am just so happy now!!! *******HAPPY DANCE********HAPPY DANCE******** I completely put it in his hands, so I have no idea what is going to happen next! I even told him he could be in charge of the setting -- though not without giving him a collage of pictures with notes! Last night, he was completely teasing me and saying "Oh, I better remember to call Whiteflash tomorrow" -- after I got an email saying we had until the end of the day yesterday to decide or it was going back. When I freaked, he replied, "Oh, I'm sure they can call it back," and "Maybe I'll find another one instead." ARGH! Then today, Celina copied me on an email (accidentally) with some purchase details! BF was a little miffed, but I don't care! After all this time, I can barely believe that he has actually purchased a stone!!!! I am almost positive that he will send it to Dave Atlas in PA for apraisal, but I don't know if he'll do a temp setting or the real thing for the proposal. Plus, the earliest we'll see my mom and step-dad is the first week of June! I hope he doesn't wait with the intent of getting their blessing. He should know he has it already, since they bring it up everytime we see them! And my real father passed away about a year ago -- I KNOW my Bf would have asked him, but I'm not sure about my mom. I hope he doesn't wait til June! I'll never make it!

I bought S12 studs from her and she was so right about them being eye clean. You should be very happy. Maybe you could shrink the picture, cut it out and wear it on your hand when you are alone - it may help you to wait

I have only told one friend -- who does understand, but jokingly calls me a "ringzilla"-- LOL. Other people would think I'm off my rocker. Scintillating: I actually sent BF a setting collage, complete with notes, in case he wants to get the "real" setting before he proposes. I don't think it will fit in one post, but let me see what I can do...

I like them, but I want my wedding band to sit completely flush. I am leaving that up to BF as well. Finally, I want a less square, more flat and rounded band. Like the comfort fit x-prong, but a little thinner. About 3mm wide or a little less. I like these below...

I was in a fitting room at Marshalls today when WF called my cell phone. She started to tell me something about the package not having been picked up yet, but I cut her off and told her that I really wasn't supposed to know anything about that stuff and that she needed to email Mike! I then called him to make sure that he contacted them. He was a little miffed. This is the third time that WF has contacted me with info that I am not supposed to know! Not that I really mind, of course! So he gets home from work and I walk into the kitchen to greet him, and there it is...an open Fed Ex box. I thought, he has GOT to be messing with me! And he was, but after enough begging, he let me see my beautiful sparkly cushion! I love it(he? she? not sure what the most fitting pronoun should be)! It looks bigger than I was expecting and has more scintillation too. Plus, it is definitely eyeclean looking from the top down. Maybe I just have bad eyes, but I don't know how Lesley could see anything! With my 10x loupe, sure, but not with my eyes alone. I adore it, but my time with it was very short. I'm not even supposed to know that he actually bought it, much less that it is sitting in a drawer in my home until it goes to the appraiser! I honestly don't know when I will actually get the ring, so I may not see the little darling again for a while. Please send good thoughts my way that it is sooner rather than later!!! Oh, I'm SO sorry I don't have any pictures to share, but my camera broke and BF isn't convinced that needing to take pictures of a diamond is a pressing enough need to buy a new one! Also, he has threatened to put baby powder on the envelope so that I can't sneak a peek when he isn't home or when he is sleeping....He's too smart for his own good!
