Help me find a wedding band

Hayyo Rough Rock Total Posts: 22 Last Post: 4/4/2006 Member Since: 12/19/2005	I need suggestions for a wedding band that would work with my 3 stone e-ring. The pictures are not very good....sorry. If someone can tell me how to take better pics with the CyberShot DSC-T9 that would be great too!

I wouldn't put a wb with it but if you must I would say the skinniest possible plain band. My only other thought was a one or two side pave band which sounds funny but here is why I thought of it. Either a one sided pave where the stones are on the side of the band like they are on the shank of your ring so when you look at the profile you aren't taking away from the er profile but continuing the pave look. The top would be plain to match the top of the ering shank and the side up next to the ering would not rub up against your diamonds. Or a two sided pave similar to the one sided mentioned above only pave would be on the top of the band as well and again none on the side matching up to the ering. Does that all make sense? Just my thoughts. Good luck!

I wouldn't want to put a band next to it because you'd be covering up that beautiful profile. Also it would rub against the diamonds which you don't want. And actually the two side stones are from his grandmothers original engagement ring and wedding ring (they've been married 67 years!). I thought about not having a wedding band on the same finger, because you guys are right....it should stand alone. I knew I could count on you guys for good accurate advice. Now I just have to convince FI to buy me a wedding ring even though I'll be wearing it on my other hand. You know how boys are he'll just ask, well if that's the only ring you're gonna wear on your wedding ring finger then why do you need another one?

I've never seen a ring like that before. I love it! I do have to agree that it should stand on it's own though. I wouldn't want to cover the beautiful sparklies on the sides AND I would be afraid that wearing something with it will damage the little stones. A ring for your other hand? ABSOLUTELY YES!!!! I'd also be worried about damage to the pave. I think your beauty easily stands on its own! (My 3-stone ring is being made [plain, no pave] and I plan to wear it without a band.)

I wouldn't want to pair another ring with your ER because (1) you will lose that lovely view and (2) i wouldn't want to scratch either the pave or the wedding ring. It's so pretty! ETA. However after having another look, maybe you could pair it with a very thin pave band that matches the side view. I do not wear a wedding band because I think the three-stone rings are a "banded" look on their own. However, after almost 17 years of marriage and two teenage sons later, I'm sort of "beyond" having the e-ring w/ wedding band composition. I know for you newly engaged ladies, you all want the band, which I completely understand because when I was lucky enough to find my wonderful hubby, I wanted everyone to know I was MARRIED!!! With your pave' sides, first off I wouldn't want to cover up that absolutely gorgeous detail. Also, I would be very concerned about the wedding band rubbing up against it. What about you getting a matching band to your husband (in a woman's width, of course), that the two of you could each engrave on the inside. My hubby and I have that -- mine has his initials and his has my initials! I think they also have our wedding date (I haven't looked in a long time, and quite frankly I can't see anything that small anymore -- LOL!). This way, you will always have the "match" with the husband, and it is nice to have a plain band when you don't want to be wearing the ultra bling ring! I must admit that even after being married for a while, I still don't like to go bare-handed!

I agree about not wearing a wedding band next to it, BUT I would wear the wedding band ( probably a diamond band ) on my LEFT hand, and the ering on my right. I would rather look married on that hand and not have to answer "so when is the wedding " all the time...hahaha I sometimes wear my set like that, especially when I was pregnant and couldn't comfortably wear them together. Just my 2cents.
