When purchasing a diamond, how can I be sure that the GIA Certificate belongs to the stone I am purchasing?

That is a good question, although I doubt that it would be different if you are buying from a legitamate vendor, but there is a possibility that it was switched intentionally/mistake,What I sugeest is that you have it varified by a third party gemologist laboratory that is reputable ,and have him varify that it matches the cert.some sites offer this service for free! diamondsman
