Will a steamer loosen stones

decapr Rough Rock Total Posts: 26 Last Post: 8/13/2006 Member Since: 2/27/2006	I have a shared prong ring and was wondering if using the Jewel Steam Cleaner will loosen the stones over time. I recall someone saying they wouldn't loosen a stone but then someone else said that their jeweler commented that a loose stone will usually appear after steaming...so I'm a bit confused. Anyone know? Thanks.
