LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- "Desperate Housewives" actress Nicollette Sheridan and singer Michael Bolton are engaged, Sheridan's publicist confirmed Wednesday. She provided no other details. Sheridan, 42, and Bolton, 53, dated for several years in the 1990s and rekindled their romance last year. Sheridan was married to actor Harry Hamlin from 1991 to 1993. Bolton ended his 15-year marriage to Maureen McGuire, with whom he has three daughters, in 1990.

Billy Joel's wife is very pretty & very young. I think she's an interior decorator or a caterer or something. She looked like his granddaughter in their wedding pictures. Michael Bolton looks a thousand times better with short hair, but that doesn't help his music.

I saw a few of the wedding photos when they got married in all the mags...his wife isn't much older than his daughter. Made for odd wedding pictures.ETA: and yes, MB and Nicolette dated previously!

I hear Michael Bolton and the only thing I can think of is "Office Space"... "if you hate your name then why not go by Mike? Why should I change? He's the one who sucks!" But good for Nicolette and Michael!

He seems like a good guy, Michael Bolton, but I can't say that I like his voice, he always sounds as if he is groaning in pain when he sings My apologies to any MB fans who might be readin this
