Need advice on the following two rocks: Color D 1.20 Depth %61.6 Table d %56 Crown angle 34.7 Pavilion depth %43.2 Medium girdle , no culet 6.81-6.85x4.21 Symmetry:EX Polish: EX Cut:EX 1.5 on HCA Color D 1.22 Depth %62.1 Table d %56 Crown angle 34.5 Pavilion depth %43 Medium girdle , no culet 6.82-6.84x4.24 Symmetry:VG Polish: EX Cut:EX 1.1 on HCA The diamonds are so close it's hard to decide, but the 1.20 has a bit more fire. Otherwise both rings are amazing and it's hard to see anything even with a microscope. |

Welcome I am not a huge expert here, but I tried the Holloway Cut Adviser for you and it wouldn't work for me, how did you get it to go - maybe I entered the specs wrongly? I take it you want a D colour and this is important to you? Also what is the clarity of these diamonds and who certified them - are they GIA certs?

It worked for me. Make sure it's Crown angle, not percentage. Both stones are roughly the same on paper, and are certified. I didn't check the stones with an idealscope, but they look great in person anyway.

Ok, I will retry. If you have seen both then great, the second diamond is a little deeper, but go with your eyes mainly.
