My fiance and I have been looking at diamonds and after checking out a number of shops and brokers, we have decided to go for a diamond with Antwerp diaomnds. I have a few questions though: 1. We have been quoted US$4270 for a 0.75 carat, VS1, F colour, round diamond with an ideal cut. Does this sound about right? 2. Also, they will provide an IGI certificate with this. Is this an acceptable certificate? Does this all sound OK or dodgy. We are very much novices but it seems like a fair price compared to those we have seen in other shops and Hatton Garden. Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.

I would keep looking. - are you comfortable buying though an online vendor? Maybe someone with a little more experience can jump in here.
