Hi everybody,
just picked out a diamond w/ an AGS certificate, but I would like to see how it does on light return, etc. b/f committing. Anyone know of a local DC appraiser or diamond store that has access to a brilliantscope or similar device - like gemex?

Also, now that I have the diamond, i need the setting! -- platinum solitaire. Any suggestions for in/around DC area appreciated.

You should check out Quest for settings.  They are in Dunn Loring VA, just outside of DC.   I'm not sure if they have the Bscope etc...  others will be able to tell you that.  Good luck!!

For an appraiser try Martin Fuller, he was great to work with and has all sorts of fancy equipment in his office. Quest is great for settings as well.

Fuller doesn't have the brilliantscope, although he was recommended for the appraisal.
Does QUEST have a website?

www.questjewelers.com I know that they do not have a BScope but I know that once they move to their new location, Pete said that they'd invest in something like the BScope but I think thats a few months off.
