Anywhere that's on the beach. Something casual would be great. In the Kaanapali or Lahaina area. Thanks for any info.

Well, I'd have to rec Spago-Maui, but it's in Wailea at the Four Seasons. Oops, I just reread and that's not casual. Roy's Bar & Grill in Lahaina...not on the beach.

I would definitely recommend Leilanie's. It is on the beach in Kaanapalli.

Leilani's sounds good. We will already be going to a Luau with the family the first day that we arrive.

You will LOVE Leilani's!! If I could offer a suggestion, maybe try to make a reservation - especially w/ a party as large as 17. Try for sunset - it is spectacular over Kaanapali Beach!!! If you can't get in there, there is a more casual restaurant right across the sidewalk called the Hula Grill. It is also right on the beach (many of the tables are in the sand) so you have the same great sites of sunset, sailboats, etc. If you wanted to go into Lahaina, there is always Longhi's (italian) that looks over the beach. Or actually, any of the restaurants on Front St. But they are usually more crowded and the view is not as "unrestricted" as Kaanapali.

My favorite restauarant in Maui is Mama's Fish House! It is amazing! I mean really AMAZING! However, it is in Paia and isnt probably what your looking for. Seawatch is also very good!
