2 choices, need help figuring out if it will be a noticalbe differnce for the $400 differnce....5 stone 4 prong ring sz 5.5 1ctw. the first has Russians EF VS, the second and obviously cheaper has FG and Si, both are premium cuts. Will the diffence in quality be that noticable and thus worth the cost in such small stones? Thanks

One more question, would it make any difference in look to go from a 1- 1.25tcw on a 5 stone ring? |

If all stones are cut the same you will not see any difference in diamonds of this size. If the russian stones are cut better then you will see a difference, if not no. Those small differences in clarity/color will not be visibly different. If it's possible, check out BOTH rings side by side and pick the one that sings. :) Rhino Rhino |

And you could buy an ideal-Scope and see if it dances too :)

Hey CutNut, Get out a post-it note, and write this on it: "Single-click the Submit button, don't double-click it." Then stick it to your monitor. (And thanks for all your helpful advice!)

If the moderator would make the Subscribe Email to a default button that people needed to click if they did not want to be told of a response then i would not need to hit the back button because i ALWAYS FORGET to click the little box and Leonid it drives me mad!!! Sorry I feel better now :) Garry Holloway FGAA DipDT |

Gary, On the top and bottom of each thread is a button "subscribe" If you forget to check the subscribe box when you submit your response, you can click the subscribe button. This way you will not need to go back and resubmit your response if you forget. Hope this helps! |
