We really got so much done! I'm getting super excited! Since I am an idiot and cannot put multiple pics together, I'm going to have to put up pics one at a time. Please forgive me! Because I LOVE looking at all of your pictures, I'm posting a ton! This first one is us before we left. Notice how cold and miserable we are (we love taking these self portraits by holding the camera out in front of us.)

Here is one of the many beautiful beaches in St. John--Cinnamon Bay. It's actually where Rene Zellwiger and Kenny Chesney got married. I hope our marrage lasts longer than there's did!  |

Oh, that's a mini bottle of coconut rum that FI is holding up in front of my face. Here are some local lovers we spied while we were on the beach. No joke, those donkeys are everywhere!  |

Here is the gorgeous spot where we will be wed. We took this after a long and successful meeting with our awesome wedding planner, Vera. I am so relieved that we met with her! We planned SO MUCH!  |

This is a crazy little beach called Drunk Bay. It's very different than the rest of the island. The waves are choppy and the beach is really rocky. All over the beach people have created little sculptures out of driftwood, rocks, coral, whatever they can find. |

I like how my FI tried to simulate his red hair with a red rock in that one. Here's the last of them, us at an overlook of Coral Bay, the day before we left. Time flew, and it now seems so long ago that we were there, even though we just got back on Thursday! I wasn't sad to leave this time, though, because I knew that we'd be back soon!  |

Oooops! One more. This is the restaurant where we will be having our welcome dinner. Yum yum yum, Morgan's Mango in Cruz Bay. We loved the casual atmosphere and the open air of this place. The frozen drinks weren't too bad either!!!!  |

LOL, I'm not sure if I am SO ready. There still seems like so MUCH to do! We are closer, though, much much closer. Now, if we could just get our invitations out! We thought we'd picked something that we liked, and FMIL insists that I go with her to look at other options...grrrrrrrrr... her intentions are the best, but I'd rather we just did it our own way. |

Tybee - it looks like you two had such a good time! I love the pics and it looks like it will be a lovely wedding! I can't wait to see it all come together! I laugh at the pics you take of yourselves, because Weston and I do that on every trip we've ever been on - we call them our "ghetto pics". We have the Nikon Coolpix that you can turn the lens around to view the screen at the same time - helps for posing.

Thanks for humoring me ladies! Mara~ We got so much more planned than I'd ever expected, menu, musicians flowers, the chupa for our ceremony--so much! My poor wedding planner, she was awesome, I'm such an idiot when it comes to all this. She was really great in helping us make classy, but not overly expensive decisions. Curlygirl~ The majority of the trip was all about drinking fruity drinks and relaxing. We ate at a million restaurants under the guise of finding our rehersal dinner spot, but actually decided on Morgan's Mango the first night (OH MARGARITAS!) We didn't meet with the planner until the day before we left. Lauren~ Got to love the ghetto-pics! We've actually had people offer to take our picture and turned them down because it's become such a ridiculous tradition for us. Everyone~ Thanks for your kind and encouraging words. It's really fun to share with you all~! |

My FI and I do that all the time too. But his head is almost twice as big as mine so they really turn out proportionate. Hey, what's going on in picture #5? Is that a funny hat on his head or sailboat in the background? If it's a sailboat, then nice timing, because it is so perfectly centered over his head! Looks like a wonderful, relaxing, warm, tropical vacation--*sigh*--now back to the real world, eh?

HA! I had to go back and look at #5! That's a sailboat sailing by! So funny, the planner was saying, "Hurry and get together quick so we can get that boat in the picture." I didn't know that she meant get it on HIS HEAD! Oh, I love it! |
