Oh yay!!! Isn't it funny the things that amuse us - and FIs just don't get it at all. I need to get started on mine too... But since FI gave me all of his addresses sooooooooooooo late, I feel like we just sent out our Save The Date's and now need to get started on the invites.... ~teebee~ |

Ooh, isn't it fun?!?! I would run home from work and check the mail first thing! I saved every RSVP, even the envelopes!

LOL, Ginger- I was the same way- they went to my mom and dads house. My cards were like actual cards, they had a fold and the inside was totally empty- it was funny everyone started writing us letters on the inside with advice, how excited they were to be coming, if they couldn't come they would do the same thing, we have a HUGE stack of our RSVP cards with letters everyone wrote it ended up being a keepsake and RSVP- multifunctional!! :) Blake Rolled his eyes at a lot of the stuff I was geeked about, but I know deep down he cared.

i have so started stalking the mailman! is it awful that i'm hoping for a some NOs? We have a limited gust list (200 is a really really REALLY small wedding for Vietnamese as well as hispanics so we had a lot of "have-to-invite" gests and too many "want-to-invite" guests  So i'm hoping of some "regretfully declines" so I can hit my B list, which is our more fun list sadly enough. Either way, I LOVE GETTING MAIL and this is super fun mail to get!Strawdermangrl -- lol..yeah, i'm sure deep inside FI cares -- deep, deep DEEP  lol, whatever, i have you guys to get excited with!jcrow -- yup...the yokie is my new baby! the thread is in diamond hangout http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=40681

Feel free to geek out here at any time, this is a safe place!!! Regarding the B list, I can just tell you from my very recent experience that the nos didn't come until the end. We were freaking out because everyone was saying yes and it was exciting but scary ($$$) at the same time! Then all the nos started to come the week of the rsvp deadline (and after that because we had to make calls to people who didn't send them back at all) so we really couldn't even add too many people from our B list. But don't sweat it too much. Just keep stalking that mailman!!!

Uh, do we have the same FI?!?! He eye-rolls me almost daily and I can tell you that when we start getting RSVP cards and I get geeked-out, he's way gonna be rolling his eyes. In fact, he eye-rolls me all the time when I tell him anything about PS! He doesn't GET it.
