Could anybody give me any information about the reputation of different jewelers? How are Perrywinkle's Fine Jewelry, Kay, et al.?

 		i would stay away from mall jewelers: prices are way too high (think of overhead alone) and i didn't find the cuts (=diamond specs) to be very good...not to my liking anyway. and they all thought i'd be stupid. i hate when people think i'm *going to be* stupid.

but that's me.
