My fiance, hater of most jewelry (gasp!), has found a wedding band style he likes. ![]() Up until now, he wanted a plain gold band but since seeing these (after describing wanting something "handmade" looking), he's decided he'd like one of these a lot more. Yellow gold, no diamonds, 4mm-5mm. The picture above is from MalcomBetts.com (thanks Valeria! ) and while their jewelry is so, so cool, they're in London. I'd like to shop around and see what I can find here first.Has anyone seen this style anywhere else? Does it have a name? TIA, wonderful PSers! |

EBree, have your FI seen Rose gold? I think it's even more masculine than yellow, more subtle. Here is the page with all sorts of them in any finish, including hammered. Pricescope |

Gorgeous. I love the rustic look of hammered gold.

Gold inside / Platinum (or Titanium!) outside = sometimes branded as 'heatts of gold' rings. The finish is 'hammered' as said above. I have some bad memories over MB prices. If the situation did not change, you could always convince one of the guys below to get out a hammer and work out appropriate rugged finnish on one of their rings. ![]() [the better fit is last - pictures had to be attached] Platinum woodgrain and yellow gold lining at Furthers (approx. $1500) ![]() ![]() ![]() Just about the very thing, at Aris Titanium ($300) Ana "The greatest experts are only as good as the sum total of what they have seen." Thank you all so much for your help! Knowing the name of the particular style helps a ton! As of right now, I have a couple ideas. Most places that advertise online with the "hammered" style still look too...factory-made for him, so I guess I'm really looking for small, independent jewelers. I'll probably contact Malcolm Betts even though I KNOW he'll be out of our price range (we're hoping to keep it at or less than $300) because they're his favorite so far. I've also already contacted a couple who makes a cool looking hammered ring for around $250, but we've requested more pictures as the one they provided was kind of small. My last thought is Whiteflash...I wonder if they could custom make something that looks so rough. Everything I've seen of theirs has been sleek and perfect! If you find anything else, keep those links coming! I really appreciate the help! Oh, and PS Admin...I showed him the rose gold, and he really likes it! I've always preferred rose gold to any other kind, so I'm pleased. He'd like to try both kinds on before deciding, though.
