They all have their "quirks," we love some of them and hate some of them...what are they??? Flyfisher's 2 oddest but cutest things would have to be 1) mayonaise and 2) watches. He makes divine mayonaise from scratch, it is one of the two items he cooks and he is very fussy about it. God forbid I put the peanut oil in the fridge! He also repairs watches and likes to go into jewlery stores to ogle the Blancpains and pateks.

My SO talks to animals in a really weird/cute voice. At first it sort of annoyed me, but I got used to it. He's a clean freak. I find that a little weird, but rather indearing! ******** |

What about yelling and screaming at those who can't hear him, i.e. whoever's playing the football/basketball/baseball game, or the driver of any car around him or within his line of vision? When my husband and I were dating, he would jump up and down all over his living room floor during Bears games and the girl who lived below him would come up and tell him to stop because all her pictures were hanging crooked or falling off the walls. yeeeeah, I have to say I'm the resident expert at Fishing 101, housework avoidance, lawnmower repair....my dad wanted a boy. I am a completely obsessed foodie who likes chemistry, though, so I have set things on fire (on purpose) in the kitchen, although nothing has exploded yet!

Mine has his own time zone. When we first started dating whenever we would schedule things with his family they would always ask "Is that real time or J time?". We were still in the "I need to impress you" stage so he was always on time for me and I had no idea what they were talking about. Fast forward a couple of months and I was telling him that we had to be where we were going at least a half hour earlier than when we actually had to be there. Oh - and he LOVES any movie that has talking animals. I think that Babe (with the talking pig) may be his favorite. Strange - but cute. OH - and his does this little twitchy thing when he is just about to fall asleep - SOOO adorable! And I'd have to say that 4. 5 and 7 of TheDoctor's list are pretty high on my guy's list too!! LOL

My honey does the twitching thing before he falls asleep too. He also is able to fall asleep within 2 minutes (if it takes that long) of closing his eyes. Piss me off because I take at least 30 minutes of tossing and turning before I am able to get comfortable to fall asleep. My 'pet name' for him is Melman for any of you who saw Madegascar (sp?). He's a sports freak and will watch Sports center for hours!!! He also calls me 'devil woman' which cracks me up everytime. So I'm convinced that one day we are going to be out with our kids and one of them is going to call me that.

Hehe, my SO does the twitching thing before he fals alseep too. Sometimes he mumbles in his sleep... Too cute!! And he adores Disney animation movies. He's almost got the whole collection, even the not-so-good ones. Is that cute or what? I can watch Beauty and the Best or Cinderella and he'll watch with me! Oh, and sometimes he'll start humming Chim-Chim Cheery completely at random. Makes me smile every time.

Mine does the twitching, and the fall asleep in seconds.. How does he do that? It's like, insulting, when I'm trying for the life of me to fall asleep. Something I love that my BF does is play guitar on the dog. I know, it sounds odd, but he picks up our puppy (since he's a mini-Dachshund, he's super long and slightly thin) and stretches him out and plays him like a guitar! He even does the noises. It cracks me up big time. I guess you have to see it... Another thing, he calls me Brown. It's my last name, and I started calling him Felix (his last name) and it just is that way now. It's either baby, honey, or Felix. I swear he doesn't know my real name anymore. I also love that he goes places with my dad and I. My dad misses my brother (iin Australia) so Paul goes out with us instead.

My man is so weird, this would be a long list. Let's see, he talks in his sleep about the weirdest things. I used to play with him while he did and have a conversation with him in his sleep, or at least I did when I could understand him. He can fall asleep in the middle of a sentence, which can be really annoying sometimes and he also does that twitching thing (must be a weird guy thing.) When we're having a conversation, he jumps topics like a woman. We can be talking about a relative and all of a sudden he starts talking about cheese. And I'm sure this is a universal guy thing: he can never stay still or quiet when watching sports. He feels the need to act out all the good plays and scream at the tv, whether its for something good or bad. I'm sure there's a lot more, but I can't think of anything else right now. I think all of his little quirks are cute though. ![]()

mine doesn't watch sports either. Except for Packers Football (when you live in WI it is almost mandatory to watch) He would much rather watch a documentary about how the ancient tribes in South America made coffee than to watch any other sport on tv.... We do the last name thing too!! he he What's funny is if I slip and do it when we are with his family - they all turn to see if I am talking to them.

I wish he didn't watch as much sports, since I'm really not into them. I used to play a lot in high school, but never could stand watching them. Though, he really only watches the Chicago football/baseball teams and Clemson U games because he graduated from there. I just thought of the quirkiest thing he's ever done, though it's more of just a funny story than a quirk. I went out of town with some friends for a weekend when we first started dating, I think we'd been dating just 3 weeks. And when I come home Sunday night his roommate calls me and says he's drunk in the pool and won't get out, which was odd because he may have a beer every once and a while but never gets drunk. So, by the time I got over to his place, he was passed out, completely naked in his bed. Brian (him rm) made him put some shorts on and I got him in his bed. Then, he starts ranting about how he's Batman and has to go stop crime and he can't go to sleep because he can see the "Bat signal" in the sky and the city needs him. I wasn't sure whether I should've been laughing at him or worried, so I did a little of both. Then, he goes on to tell me how much he missed me and that he loves and then he asks me if I'm ready to get married. It was a long night, but makes a great story that he'll never live down. My friends still call him "Batman." So, I guess his biggest quirk is that when he's had too much to drink, he thinks he's a superhero. ![]()
