I'm finally going to get to see my reception site!!! very exciting indeed -- though, our summer flowery garden will look quite a bit different under a winter blanket of snow-- part of me still can't believe that i booked this place site unseen, but i'm pretty impulsive and saw enough pictures to know that it's gorgeous. unfortunately, our weekend isn't going to allow too much time for fun. we have to meet with the wedding planner lady at the castle hill inn and then meet with 3 priests, two of which are requiring us to sit in on a mass before the meeting. my man is going to get a healthy dose of the catholic faith these next couple of days. i hope he makes it through  we also have to find a florist and hunt out some suitable rehearsal dinner venues. so much to do in such a short amount of time i.e. NO SKIING  oh well. |

So exciting!!!! I hope everything is as perfect as you'd hoped, and you manage to find a perfect florist and rehearsal dinner location quickly and easily! And that your fiance survives all that Catholicism. Have fun!!!

That is SO funny. My FI & I are going to be at Castle Hill in Ludlow, VT this weekend too --- celebrating Valentine's Day a wee bit early. I'll have to keep an eye out for BLING! A gal I work with told me there there is a funny place up there that sells guns & gourmet food (Singletons?). Maybe they do catering for shotgun weddings

deco: that is too much of a coincidence! however, we are not staying at castle hill. nope. too much $$$ for our strapped little budget  we are staying at my brother and his wife's house which is just a little south of ludlow. but i am sooooo excited to finally lay eyes on it! you'll have to tell me all about your experience. what a lucky lady to have such a romantic v-day celebration

TAKE PICTURES! Oh, I am so excited for you! I have to laugh about attending so many masses,though. As a "recovering" Catholic myself, I'm not sure that I could take it! |
