Hi all,

It's been a long time since I posted here.  I'm hoping other forum goers will be able to help out.  Sorry if this post is in the wrong section.  A very good friend of mine is getting married soon and I wanted to gift her a bangle bracelet similar to this one.  I thought it would be a good idea for her "something blue", as well as personal wedding gift.  The one here is white gold with blue topaz stones, it is a designer piece, and out of my price range - about $600.  I'm looking to find something similar for around $200.  After looking around for a few days, I'm wondering if that is even possible

If anyone has any ideas or alternatives - please post!  Thanks so much.

Thanks for the help!  Unfortunately $450 is still too much

I also think my friend would prefer white gold to yellow.  If I can't find it with blue topaz, I wouldn't mind it being something pink (she likes pink and blue) - whether it be pink tourmaline or something like that.  I guess I should also say that it needs to be real gemstones - as I don't like the idea of faux stones.

Okay, this is the last one I'm going to post, since you probably just wanted a bangle anyway, and I should get back to work! It's $230.

Thanks for all your research albicocca!

All the items you posted are lovely, and I will have to consider the first bangle you posted. I can't believe you found so many blue topaz bracelets/bangles.  I've been hunting for a few days online and I haven't even found that many!   I should also mention that I'm really hoping to find a bangle bracelet versus just a bracelet.  This is because my friend will be wearing many bangles on her wedding day (Indian-American fusion wedding).  I want her to be able to wear this with all her bangles and maybe have it be her something blue for her wedding day.

Froogle is helpful in this type of research.

I'm certainly open to the idea of diamonds instead of a colored stone - I was just thinking that it would be impossible to get anything in diamonds for under $200

Ah, you have a real reason to want a bangle! I sort of figured you did from your phrasing, but then I just kept coming across nice topaz bracelets and thought you MIGHT be interested, so I might as well try. That diamond one just posted looks great, though, or I'm sure you'll find something lovely! Good luck!
