Tough to tell without looking at them Atu, but I lean towards the 1.52 on paper.

Smaller table, lesser depth, better symmetry and polish...

Do you know crown heights and pavilion depths along with those tables and total depths? That is some basic info I'd ask for. Princess cuts whose tables are larger than their total depths *generally* have very shallow crowns which usually contributes to stones with a lot of light leakage.

Lots of leakage = poodoo.

Oh, I didn't know about that!

Unfortunately this is all info that i have about the stones. Do you recommend depth to be lower than table or that they should be about equal?

I am also looking at another stone... a bit higher quality VS2 instead of SI1

1.52ct
6.51*6.42*4.51
depth: 70.2
table: 74 (same problem depth is lower than table)
girdle: th to thick
polish: vg
sym: g
price: 8000

the difference in price between very similar si1 and vs2 in my case is ~ $550

I want to make sure that the stone is eye clean, but in the same time is it worth to pay so much extra?

Thank you so much,

Atu
