I am looking at purchasing the Ritani Endless love setting.  I have read the posts reguarding this ring.  I am dealing with Bailey Banks & Biddle.  The setting retails for $3,200.  I believe that they can sell it for $2,600.  The diamond is a 1.5 GIA cert. G VS2 stone from BBB and not Ritani.  The stone retails for $~18,600 and he can sell it for $15,600.  How much more room does anyone think I have.  I do have one other Jewelry store in town that can procure the setting and diamond, but they do not normally carry Ritani.  They are arguably the most reputable jewelry store in town, so I am not weary of this.  Any and all help is very greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Is it a round stone?

All I can tell you Lawrence, after comapring prices myself, is that you can usually get the diamond for less from one of the reputable online vendors. I will probably have a local jeweler set the stone, but I found that I could save about $3000 by getting the diamond online.  $15,600 doesn't sound too bad if the diamond is Ideal cut. I'd suggest you list all the info off the GIA cert and people can tell you whether the price for the diamond is okay or not.

~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
It is a round stone.  BBB said that they will not warranty the stone if I bring it in to them.  So, if it falls out, I am in trouble, correct?
First that price seems really high. Secondly, there are jewelers that will insure your stone while setting. My suggestion would be to shop around online for prices, most online PS (if not all) vendors have great platinumsmiths that should be able to either order in the Ritani or replicate it. Hope this helps!
I would send the stone to Ritani and have them set it, not BB&B. Ritani likes you to buy their stones but there are ways to get around it. An inherited diamond for example, or buying a stone, putting it in a temp. setting. We need more info on the stone you are considering to tell you if it's cut well, which is the most important "C." I agree, the price isn't over the top for a Brick and Morter store but you probably could find a stone online for less, if that's what you're after. If you love the Ritani, get the Ritani, no replica will be exactly the same and the workmanship of Ritani rings are very, very good.
ETA:
here's a link to a stone from Good Old Gold that looks very nice, it's ideal cut, 1.59 F SI1 is $14500. You'll have to make sure it's eyeclean but i'd take it in a heartbeatl
