Maybe the guy just attached the GIA report of a dif diamond by mistake... Maybe I'm overreacting... I don't know. ( I used those specs to search their entire inventory for the diamond but did not find it) Whatever it may be, my experience with them has not been very good so I'll be moving on.

You've made a few mistakes in the dimensions, I think...6.40-6.47-3.98mm would be more accurate. And using those figures, if the top set is from the Sarin, they agree with what is on the cert. within the usual margin of error. Can't tell you anything about the angles though. |

That makes a heck of a lot more sense. I looked at the pdf file and it looks like with the photocopying that 6.17 may actually be a 6.47 You're right! It's a good thing too because I kind of liked the sales guy. The prices and the diamond quality not so much but the guy not so bad. The sales guy quoted $4,280 and would not go any lower for the stone above... I've found examples of what seems to be better cut ... say like this: click for almost $400 less and that's without the additional discount pricescope participants get with White flash. The stone is an I instead of a J though so... it might not be so bad. What do you think? About to make that all important |
