Well, I'm getting close on a diamond, and after reading and lurking on this site for some time, I decided to solicit some additional advice. First, the stats: Round, 1.82 Ct. Depth: 59.9 Table: 60 Girdle: Thin to Slightly Thick, Faceted Culet: None Polish: Good Symetry: Very Good Clarity: SI2 (on-line broker said she couldn't see anything w/the naked eye) Color: G Flourescence: None 7.84/7.92/4.72 I'm having it appraised here in Minneapolis (shipped from Diamond Brokers of Fla). Price is just under 10K. My objectives: I don't want to buy paper, but I want to be sure I have 'cosmetic quality' (I made up the term - don't you think it should be an industry standard?). Thanks in advance, Don
