Hi everyone.

I am interested in a diamond that has a very good score on the Holloway cut advisor. It comes with a score of 0.4 in the BIC range.

The problem I have is that the diamond is not certified. It has a sarin report but the angles would give it a low GIA or AGS certificate.

The measurements are:
Depth 59.1
Table 54.1
Crown angle 31
Pavilion angle 40.4
Cutlet none

It says the polish and symmetry is very good and a thin to medium girdle.
Is this a diamond to go for -or at least get further appraised? What should I be carefull of?
Many thanks for any replies.

Should I avoid this diamond because of the low crown and pavilion angles?

Low crown angle increases the risk of chipping. You might want to check for this.

Positive things about this diamond is that it has good spread and low light leakage.

IMO, You should consider all this in relation to price.

I'll try to post gem file for these proportions.

Here is the drcoll.gem you can play with GemAdviser

According to DiamCalc the model stone has less light return under the table but very low light leakage, decent contrast and 5% better spread.
