Hey - new here - just got engaged on Christmas day :) I live in San Francisco, but we're planning an October wedding in Dallas where all our family lives... I'm having a hard time finding a reception site that allows outside catering! I'd love to have local Dickey's BBQ be served buffet style for 150 people (seems all the weddings i've been to have just had the steak/chicken/fish dinners..). I've looked at a few ranches like SouthFork (no outside catering) and SwinginD (charges you pretty much the same if you use their food or not) - any other recommended places? It would be nice if there was an outside site for the ceremony too, but I think I'll be able to find a church if necessary... thanks so much! -sarah |
