My boyfriend and I are looking to buy my diamond within the next week or so. We had almost bought a ring in the diamond district in NYC, but I had second thoughts and cancelled the order. The diamond there was 1.06 carats, but deep and with a very thick girdle.

Which of these 2 diamond do you think would be better for an engagement ring?

Thanks for your input. It will most likely be going in a simple six prong setting so we can spend most of our budget on the stone.

Thanks.

I like the H-SI2 better. It looks cleaner.
Nice numbers, nice IS, should be a beauty. Great price for the SIZE too!

Scintillating...

I'd personally choose the H SI2 stone too.  Let us know which stone you choose.

I like the H SI2 one.  Can't go wrong with either.  If you choose the ACA J, ask about the inclusions.  It seems more pronouced in the photo, granted it is magnified to ying yang, but still, you have to be sure you could live with it.  Good luck and let us know what you choose.
