From a timelessness standpoint, which shape do you think might be an elegantly classic option? (Hoping for around a 2.00 ct. center stone.)  My boyfriend is not the type to shop for jewelry, so I have a lot invested in this one engagement ring purchase.
   Thank you!

I have to say the EC. I just love that cut and, IMO, it is the most classy diamond there is

I'm not a fan of the faceting pattern of radiants

Another vote for an Emerald Cut here, what's not to love?????

Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be...

I also think with an emerald cut you said what is an elegantly classic option, an EC fits that bill any day of the week.

Definitely this cut has stood the test of time - simplicity and quality always works!  OOOH I love EC's! Should look rather substantial too in 2 carats!
