rosy Cut Rock Total Posts: 422 Last Post: 1/29/2006 Member Since: 10/7/2004	Hi, Does anyone know what the difference is between a regular plain platinum wedding band vs a heavy plain platinum wedding band? What is the advantage to having a heavier band over regular? Thanks!

I would expect one to be thicker and more resistant to bending and wear because of it. But Belle's take could be right just as well. This is not a standard description, as much as I know. I have a regular plat comfort fit and a heavy plat comfort fit and there's a visible and obvious difference. I know Stuller doesn't make it's heavy plat in a smaller width than 3 either.
