Hi, Does anyone know what the difference is between a regular plain platinum wedding band vs a heavy plain platinum wedding band? What is the advantage to having a heavier band over regular? Thanks!

i am assuming this difference is in the width...i.e. 2.0mm vs. 3.0mm

Different sellers may mean different things by this - aside the obvious mass difference... I would expect one to be thicker and more resistant to bending and wear because of it. But Belle's take could be right just as well. This is not a standard description, as much as I know. Ana "The greatest experts are only as good as the sum total of what they have seen." Regarding Stuller--its THICKER and more dense. Sits higher off the finger. I have a regular plat comfort fit and a heavy plat comfort fit and there's a visible and obvious difference. I know Stuller doesn't make it's heavy plat in a smaller width than 3 either.
