Maya Moonstone Cut Rock Total Posts: 212 Last Post: 10/21/2007 Member Since: 4/7/2005	Hi Has anybody seen the cover of the Martha Stewart Wedding Winter 2006 issue? It does not have a bride on, or flowers, cake etc...but DIAMOND RINGS! All (or most ) of the different cuts are on the cover - even a cushion (my favourite) and an OEC if I am not mistaken. If you are in a Safeway in Seattle - don't buy the MSW magazine that is slightly damp - it is drool Maya

I have to say she is a little daring to go with diamond rings, when every other wedding mag out there uses models most of the time! That's our Martha! Ever since I bought her K-Mart towels for college 7 years ago I have loved her! Most of the same rings are on the inside. but there are lots of others too.. and it seems like a LOT of great ads for diamonds too.. Michael C Fina has a great ad with tons of different designers.. YUMMY. Its a total eye candy issue!

Anyway, I saw the Martha mag at the store today and just had to buy it. It's not only DIAMONDS, but it's also MARTHA!

It has a picture of stacks of different diamond bands made by all different designers it's on page 315. Anyway, I was looking up close and noticed the Rina Limor band #25. The miligran is uneven and the workmanship is awful. Did any of you notice this or is it just me? ----------------------------- A deal is only a deal if you are getting exactly what you want.

You made me take a closer look at te rings on the page...Look at Number 23 as well, maybe it is an illusion, but it seems as if the diamonds in the gypsy set band from Reinstein Ross are set uneven! I just found this thread after it was linked to another....I bought the mag a few days ago and I have to tell you....as soon as I saw the ring I had the same reaction as you. I even checked twice at who the designer was...because the milgraining was HORRIBLE. It was too bad, cuz I liked several of her rings...but letting that out...and to be photographed no less...what a sin against jewelry!

What I do for diamonds. sigh. Also- I agree, some of those rings were slightly mangled. And I didn't see many of the PS vendors. Did I see any? I mean, come on. Tiffany and Cartier are gorgeous, but there are other brands out there. I loved the magazine, though!! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you were an ocean, I'd learn how to float.
