Next year after our lease is up we are going to move to Rockville or buy a house near by. Hopefully the housing market slows down. LM

There are a bunch of factors, including being closer to my aging parents (and some siblings). Traffic isn't the greatest there either, but it still seems pretty tame compared to here. We do want to be a little more out in the country too. You can get a lot more house and land for the money up there. And I grew up there, so for me it's "home." The only problem is property taxes up there are crazy. Of course,while working, the overall tax bill won't be any worse than Montgomery Co., MD, but if you lose your job or retire, the Prop. Taxes don't go away!!

I'm not sure how the job market is otherwise, but as long as he can transfer, it'll work. I have to laugh though: the title of this thread is about Paula Abdul, and I really couldn't care less about her. I wonder how many people check it and are totally disappointed with our MD/PA exchange!! But we're having a nice conversation anyway!!

My sister and I were at the mall yesterday trying to get a Christmas Card picture of my kids. Any Grant was walking toward us and I couldn't react fast enough to alert my sister and tell her to snap a pic. After she walked by I told my sis, hey Amy Grant just passed us, but by the time my sister turned around she was gone. Later we were in a dept store and they were playing Amy's Christmas CD. We were thinking..hmmm...I wonder if Amy came in here and heard he own songs being played ----------------------------- A deal is only a deal if you are getting exactly what you want.
