Well, I know I'm in love with my bf, but I found this setting while ring shopping this weekend and I cannot get it out of my mind');" alt="Insert smilie " src="http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/images/smilies/30.gif" border=0>!! I looked through every single pic on the Show Me the Ring Forum to see if anyone had something similar, but no one does.  I really wish I could find a picture of it, but I can't find one anywhere!!  It was set with 2 ct. radiant diamond (soooo sparkly!!) and was micro pave in a split shank that was "weaved together."  Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone know where I could find that pic?

Also over the weekend, while having dinner with his extended family, his dad was trying to teach me introductions in Vietnamese (my bf is Vietnamese) as he was going through aunt, uncles, what not, he said " and eventually you'll call me and my wife, ___ and ____, which means mom and dad." I didn't know what to say!! Atleast the family has accepted me (me being the very caucasian girl that I am!)

GOOOOD WEEKEND! Now if only someone could help me find a picture of that setting...

I know they're not radiants, but they were the only weaved pave side settings I could find.

Those pictures are definitely closer than anything I've found, but still not it.  Thank you sooooo much for your help! The shank is a little more dainty and the twists are farther apart from each other, I guess a little more "loose" looking. Would it be completely inappropriate for me to call the jeweler and ask her to take a picture of it for me?

I've heard of others doing this. Doesn't hurt to call and ask!
Good Luck!

The people at Micheal C Fina in NYC sent me pictures of a few Rina Limor rings. I dont see why they wouldnt.

Also close, but it doesn't have that halo effect and the first "criss-cross" is further away from the center stone .... I guess its good that I like it, not a lot of people have it ( and I like to be unique) but its been such a bugger to find a picture of!! I was really hoping to find another place that carried it b/c the word is that the jeweler I saw it at is high quality but also high price.  And the search continues....

SeattleSparkle, As soon as I read your post I immediately thought of this ring. I don't know if it's close to what you were looking for, but I had to post it.

Sorry, I don't have any other views of that ring.  I saved it months ago to my computer, I think it was just from one of the shopping channels, like shopnbc or something.  Good luck!

Ooooh that's pretty. It may be a little to intricate for me though. Oh, man.  I guess I'm just going to have to call them and ask for a picture (b/c of course, they have 150 erings on their website, and none of them are it.

If I do find it, you betcha I'll post it.  Thanks for joining my ring crusade.

My bf is doing diamond research and asking his engaged/married friends for advice ... yay!

This one!! This one!! Its this one (with a white diamond though.)  Isn't it pretty?  My bf is toooo good to me. Without me asking, he emailed the jeweler and had her send the pictures to him, which he just sent to me ... I also asked about what band you'd put with it ... lets see if the pictures post ...

That ring is beautiful! It think that with a white diamond, it would be even more stunning. And WITH the band, definitely.

Thanks for the advice.  I hope that I can try on that band with it in the relatively near future.

And Thanks for looking for it, I really appreciate it.

And its good (exciting, nervewracking) that my bf is on the ball looking into this stuff... maybe this whole proposal thing is going to happen WAAAY early than I expected.

Ooh, I'm glad you got pictures the actual setting you were looking for!!! It really is a lot prettier than any of the other options we came up with. I love it! And that your boyfriend's getting to work on this!!!

Wow, it is beautiful.  I can see why you loved it so much.  It's very delicate looking.  Did they tell you the name of the designer or is it one of a kind?  Have you picked out your diamond?

Boy I can be a dummy sometimes

I was thinking to myself - kinda like the one in your avatar - is it anything like that?

Beautiful ring by the way - Of all the 'weaved bands' on this thread the one you like is by far the best

Good, I'm glad you all like it!! The more and more I look at it, the more I like it.  I think its more of a "one of a kind" piece at the store .... but kind of pricey , no, a lot pricey. (Sigh)  My bf wouldn't tell me how much but said that the center stone couldn't be as big/clear/white then....

I think I'm totally okay with that (its the cut that matters anyway right?) because I've looked at a lot of rings now and its the only one that I just can't get out of my head.

Matatora - I can't wait to see it on my hand too!!!

DiamondLil - I think he's started picking it out! I think this is what he wants to "surprise me" with (since I've pretty much ruled out other setting options) I was looking at a few last night while watching "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" (fine, they showed a proposal and a wedding last night .... I DID NOT need to know that this entire season is dedicated to weddings.) My boyfriend was asking me about the depth and culet and all of these things I thought he had no idea about. He says to me, "And no comprimise on cut, right?" I said, "Right!"  Since it was his computer I was browsing on ... I "happened" to check the History .... he's been doing all sorts of research.

Yay!
