Are the Martini Style settings for Diamond Stud earrings any better or worse when it comes to light reflection than a standard 3 prong basket. Does having the stone set soo close to the ear cause any issues with light reflection? Thanks

if you have a well cut stone without much leakage, most all of the light will be reflected back to your eye, so the type of setting does not impact diamond performance. if you have an overly deep stone a high, open setting will allow more light through the pavillion making it look brighter.

I second belle's statement. I just got my 3 prong martini earrings and they reflected light is unbelievable! Just amazing.
