Got the ring today and...I am in love. I wish I was a better photographer and I hope that my jeweler can size it, b/c there's very little metal left on the band on the palm side. Can they do anything to beef the bottom of the band up?

I wish the pictures could capture the delicate filigree work, but here goes...

It looks lovely,  PinP!!  Congratulations!

I wish we could the filigree detail better....but it does look great as much as I can see it!  Is it two-tone?  Where did you get it?

THANKS, Widget. I was hoping you'd see this post since you helped me on my earlier one.

It's all 14Kwhite gold. I got it from E-Bay.

PiP, that is a gorgeous stone and setting. I surprised myself and ended up with a vintage diamond; I thought I would get an aquamarine, but couldn't find any in the right (budget) range that I adored. Probably because you got one of the few out there! Maybe in my next life I can learn patience....

So congratulations on scoring one of my favorite gems in such a lovely setting. BTW, my ring has lovely filigree as well and I pretty much struck out on capturing the detail too (g).

Oh--and the bottom of my shank was almost wire-then and yes, my jeweler had it reinforced and my amateur eye can't even tell.
