I'm new to pricescope and have been reading these forums for some time. Like many newbie's I have had the dilemma of finding the "perfect" diamond. A diamond that I am looking at has the following specifications and I need all of your expert opinions regarding whether this diamond is any good. Radiant cut measurements: 7.38 x 6.55 x 3.99 mm depth 60.9 table 67% crown heigh- 10 girdle- medium to slightly thick cutlet- none finish: polish-good symmetry- good clarity grade- vs1 color grade- E fluorescence- none Based on the cut guide by David Atlas I'm concerned that my table is too large and that my crown height is too small. The diamond is gorgeous but I can't help being scientific about all the numbers. Thanks for any advice. |

Welcome Premium Cut..... One of the best ways to see if a diamond jumps out at you is to ask your jewler to line up a few radiants for you. I made the mistake of looking at just one at a time. Until I learned more on PS here, I saw a big difference in their looks. What i thought was pretty looking by itself, suddenly it showed not much "life" in it. Numbers will help you toward a pretty rock, but "seeing is believing"!! ![]() ![]() ![]() good luck w/ your search and keep us posted..... *** who doesn't love a sparkling ROCK *** |
