That stone is deep, IMO.  I personally wouldn't get one that deep because you're losing weight where you can't see it.  It won't look as large as one that's less deep.

yes I was concerned about the depth.. but likely the reason it falls in my price range....will it be that big a downside?

What about this one?  It's $2846 with the PS discount.

http://www.whiteflash.com/diamonds/diamond_Details.aspx?itemcode=AGS-6633609

At 6.04 mm diameter, you will barely notice the difference between that and 6.19 mm (your first pick), and definitely not if they're not side by side.

This one is also $3919 with the PS discount, and it's bigger than all of these so far.  Diameter 6.54 mm.  This is what I'd pick if I were buying.

The one you picked with 63.6% depth is still too deep.

ETA: Rather than looking at the carat weight, you should look at the diameter.

What is the PS discount for Whiteflash, BTW? 100$ or something? That's pretty decent.

Kimberly, this one (http://www.whiteflash.com/diamonds/diamond_Details.aspx?itemcode=GIA-14814724) does have depth 60.3.  The one that klicks picked, item code 4349127 above, had depth 63.6 according to his post.

that's a grand canyon stone way too deep
the girdle is too thick.
is the color H or I ?
bottom line....PASS on this one.

it is always harder to find a "mind clean" stone than a eye clean stone.
