I've been lurking on Priscope for a few weeks now and I got some great info on purchasing a diamond to replace my lost ering. I'll try to post picture of my new ring when I get it in a few weeks. Anyway, I bought a pair of 6mm stud pearl earrings for $7 at a consignment shop and I got them home and the backing on them has k18 marked on them. I'm assuming this is the same as 18k and I also assume that this must mean that the pearls must be fairly high quality to be set in 18k. They are a creamy pink and I can see my reflection in them so I think they have a pretty good luster. I was thinking of having them set with a little diamond underneath them. Do think they would be worth it?

sure why not. While you at it you can have them checked out to see what they are. ........... Karl has joined the diamond trade and is now posting as Karl_K |
