I am on the hunt for a super thin white gold or platinum band.  I want it to be less than 2mm in width.  I have been looking everywhere and may try to get it custom made.  Any ideas?  Thanks for any help!

I also am looking for this, though I just started...I want to wear a thin platinum band as a thumb ring. I'll let you know what I find out there!

ETA: I just noticed you wanted UNDER 2mm...I am looking for something no thicker than 2mm. Anyway I will report back. I see Blue Nile has a 2mm one for $190. Pretty sweet.

That's a fun project! Keep us posted on your "research"!

One thing I would find out about is if a ring is hollow or solid. I know they make them both ways in gold, not sure about platinum. But that would be a drag to get one and find out it's hollow! They dent and ding up really fast when they aren't solid. (My humble 2 cent opinion! Hmmmm, maybe it's only worth 1 cent! )

And THAT'S my story and I'm sticking to it!

Try this: http://www.signedpieces.com/item.cfm?item_id=747

If it doesn't work, it's meant to be a link to Facets' rings. Those rings are pretty inexpensive.

i think any band <2mm might bend too easily ? a custom made 1 mm would probably cost you more than a 2mm.i bought a 2mm plat band for my wife and it cost $180.

it is always harder to find a "mind clean" stone than a eye clean stone.

I just ordered the 2mm band from Signed Pieces but in 18kt white gold.  I should get it today.  It was under $100.  I will report back once I get it.

I bought my 2mm (flat) wedding band from eweddingbands.com, I'm happy with it and the price was right. I don't think they have anything under 2mm but they might- this is a link to there Plat stuff.

I finally got my 2mm band from Signed Pieces today.  I don't have any pics yet, but I really like it.  I bought it to wear with my shared prong e-ring.  It's very dainty, which is exactly what I was looking for.  It doesn't feel hollow at all.
