Anyone know of any great places to go dress shopping? Good outlets or any sample sales going on? I'll be staying at the San Francisco Hilton. I want to keep the cost under $500 for the dress. Oh, and I am getting married next September on the Big Island of Hawaii, probably in the morning. Thanks!
_____________________________ "Hello Dollies" Combine 1 stick melted butter and 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Press in greased 9x13 pan. On top, layer 1 package chocolate chips, 1 package peanut butter chips, 1 12oz can lightly salted peanuts. Top with 1 small can sweetened condensed milk (I use fat free big deal!). Bake at 350 for 25 minutes (the edges should be bubbly). I recommend not cutting them until the next day because it seems to take that long for the graham cracker bottom to really harden. |

Jennifer- There's lots of places to go shopping for dresses in SF, but many are more high end couture places. You should try Jessica McLintock on the corner of Union Sq, and the Gunny Sax outlet in So SF (they carry discontinued Jessica Mclintock) has huge discounts, but sometimes sparse smaller sizes. You might want to try Macy's formal section, but it's winter so I doubt you'll find much in the way of white.... If you have a car and are willing to drive, there's a consignment store in Walnut Creek that sells wedding gowns on consignment, it's called CHerished. Good luck!
