Wedding in SW Fla - need venue!! |

I live in DC and am dying to have a beach ceremony and reception in SW Florida. I am thinking we may have to find a wedding coordinator to find the perfect venue. All the research I've done online seems so deceiving...they show one/two pictures and that's it. So far my favorite areas are Sanibel Island, Tampa, and Key West. Does anyone have any suggestions for venues and/or wedding coordinators? Any help would be greatly appreciated

We were on Captiva Island -- moments away from Sanibel -- two months ago for our one year anniversary. We stayed at the 'Tween-Waters Inn. What a fabulous spot for a wedding!!! We saw two of them while we were there. Let me know if you want more info. Google the site...there's pictures of wedding set ups. The place is perfect, upscale and casual at the same time!!! My best friend got married at the Wyndham Reach Resort in Key West. They were married out over the water on a pier that has a gazebo at the end. It was beautiful. Here's the link. One of the pictures is of the pier. The reception was on an upstairs balcony type room with a great view of the beach. I live in the DC area, too! One of my friends is getting married on the sand in Naples, FL next weekened and the reception will be in the ballroom at La Playa Resort. I hear it is wonderful! What about Miami beach? Dont know what you're into, but such nice old Art Deco hotels right on the beach!
