After 6-1/2 years, and four months of knowing he had the ring, my bf proposed! I want to thank the members of this forum for their knowledge which helped me find my beautiful diamond and setting. As is (almost) required :), I've attached a couple of shots of the ring and the stone details...now, if I can only figure out how to attach my previous post of the ring adventures...

Pic 1 of the ring:

Details of the stone:
Shape: A Cut Above H&A
Carat: 1.110
Color: F
Clarity: SI1
Depth: 60.6
Table: 55
Crown Angle: 34.8
Crown %: 15.5
Pavilion Angle: 40.7
Pavilion %: 42.9
Girdle: Thin
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Culet: Pointed
Fluorescence: Negligible
Measurements: 6.74-6.76X4.09

Thanks again to Jamie at Whiteflash and Chris at D. Atlas & Co./Accredited Gem Appraisers for their support and help! I love my ring and can't stop admiring it. It makes standing in line at the grocery store much more exciting.

A classic ring with the twist of a wide band, it suits your hang very nicely. Congrats!

I love your ring...it's very beautiful!

Your story is very similar to mine (I was with my BF for a little over 7yrs before he proposed to me).  I also have a x-prong setting and he bought it from WF too!

Congratulations!

I couldn't help but notice the similarities last night as I was reading of one proposal after 6 1/2 years and another after 7 years. I also noticed the two Vatché style settings!!! I thought I was having déja vu!

BTW, why did he wait so long after he picked up the ring to pop the question? I'm currently in the same situation, just curious......
