I really like this stone, but it seems way too expensive for a 1.21 G SI1... $7500 for a cash wire price. What are other peoples thoughts on the price? http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/A-Cut-Above-H-A-cut-diamond-1911797.htm#

I think it's fine. If it bugs you, then maybe consider this 1.18ct G SI1 Expert Selection for $6216 cash wire. Another ACA (1.20ct G SI1) of about the same size but a step up in clarity is $9058 There's also this 1.19ct G SI1 from Good Old Gold for $6918 cash wire. It's easy to compare prices using the Cut Quality Search tool at the top of the page - that's where this info is from. There's likely a price jump around 1.2ct.

I think there's a premium on that diamond because of the AGS cert and the ideal polish and symetry. There are a few I found on the PS search that were a bit less, but they didn't have quite as good of symetry and proportions, and the spread was slightly less. Are those specs worth an extra $1500 - $2000 to you? If not, there certainly are some great stones at a lower price.
