many of the 'older' cuts have an open culet and you will notice it. i think it looks cool if it is in an antique setting. what is the color of the stone?

Belle... I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "open" culet. This stone was just certified in August of this year, so can one make the assumption that it is a newer stone? As far as the color, the flour. is listed as FAINT. Thanks!

you won't see it at all ...right belle? The stone is an E I think...and you won't see the faint flourescence either. ______________________________ Stewart says: I'm good enough. I'm smart enough. And doggon'it, people like me. |

MMM.... You are right, it is an E. We are asking so many questions about this stuff! We are planning a second visit to the store on Sat. and plan on taking some photos; maybe we can post some here. Belle... When you say "older" cut; what exactly do you mean? Cheers....

Hello Maya.... Your ring is very beautiful! The cushion that we are looking at has the following Specs: GIA 1.92 ct E VS1 Polish - EX Sym - EX depth - 66.7 % table - 56 % flour - faint culet - med girdle - med - slightly thick, faceted Cushion Brilliant 7.89 x 7.20 x 4.80 mm So....I guess that makes it rectangular...sort of? Cheers....
