I was just curious if anyone else saw the crazy lights up in the sky off the coast of San Diego about 7:30ish this evening? They were bizarre...and we haven't figured out what they are yet! All the neighbors were out checking them out, and there hasn't been anything on the news about it yet! REALLY STRANGE! But sort of cool at the same time! Shouldn't have watched that Invasion show last night!!

Tawn, it's probably due to the solar flares from the sun that have been occuring over the past two weeks or so. I read an article on CNN or MSNBC about how they would be producing beautiful light shows for some parts of the world, don't know if that included CA, but that would be my guess.

Well, I did some research on the gigantic Solar Flare that apparently occured several weeks ago ...and it's been causing the Northern Lights to be active as far south as Arizona! I think it's further!! All the way to San Diego! Well...I'm just glad Aliens aren't invading!

Tawn...are you sure it wasn't E.T. coming back for an overdue visit? LOL... I wish I could see pics of something like that...over here in NYC, we never get anything like that. Still waiting on my ring....I think another week  Annette

Check out the "Marfa Lights" in Texas.  Those flares are every night!

Aha...something totally different! Hmmmm, closer to the aliens than the northern lights! The pic shows just what it looked like and it was big!! "VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE – A rocket carrying a military research satellite blasted off Thursday, dazzling spectators from California to Arizona with a rainbow of colors as it streaked across the sky at dusk. People throughout Central and Southern California and parts of Arizona also reported seeing the launch. To some, the rocket's contrail produced a swirl of red, green, blue and yellow as the rays of the sun, which had already set, reflected off it as it raced into the sky."

Government does all sorts of crazy things! Earlier this year my mom and MIL called from Tampa, Florida screaming about how they just had an earthquake. I'm thinking earthquake in FL?? Well this went on for HOURS, the neighbors were out, they acted as if it was Armageddon! Well the next morning, Macdill Air Force base released a statement saying two of their planes flew too close to each other or something like that and it caused successive sonic booms ...sometimes I really wonder how much of the stuff they tell us is true and how many times have extraterrestrials really landed on Earth (X-Files music playing in background)

I lived in Tampa when that happened! We lived about three miles from the base. Last year, MacDill forgot to notify the public about some drills they were performing. We woke up at 6:00 am and heard screaming sirens. We honestly thought we were under attack.

I live right on the beach...right by where they train the Navy Seals and we hear and see some insanely crazy stuff! Lots of explosions and colored flash bangs etc. They paddle past my house in the middle of the night during "Hell week" and then see them all beat to hell afterwards! I watched the X-files and they make all the secret alien stuff so believable!

Oh I wouln't worry about the aliens. The possibilities are really quite limited. 1) They arrive, don't care about us, and may or may not affect how we live. In this case the Aliiens could be as simple as some kind of virus life form that we barely notice (if ever), or hugly complex and considers us to be some kind of trivial life form. Their arrival may be via meteror to energy transfer from elsewehere. 2) They arrrive, know about us, and want the earth for their uses. They quickly erradicate most earth life forms. They are so technologically advanced that nothing we have can change a thing. 3) They arrive, know about us, and just want to establish contact. Perhaps with some trade. Hate to sound pesimistic: But I belive options 1 and 2 are more likely than option 3. but, an entire industry is built on the possibilities of option 3. What would we do if we get the technology to travel the stars?... Do we even notice the form of life on another planet, do we quickly erradicate another type of criters on a world that we want for some form of mining or simply to "possess" that planet. Do we treat another lifeform as an "animal" to be raised for various reasons (food, pets, research animals). Do we just establish contact and have "fair trade." Look at what mankind has done on this planet. Erradication, enslavement, and raising seems to be our pattern. Simple "fair trade" is far from the concept of international relationships. It is more about "power" and how trade can help us get power that counts. Anyway, enjoy the strange sites. Perry ps. Look carefully, the aliens may already be here. Good thing they don't want our diamonds...
