This stunning piece of work is by OGI Ltd, style #119. It can be seen here.

However, I know nothing about it. Short of tracking down a retailer and enduring the sales pitch, anybody know anything about this ring? Specifically, the individual carat weight of the eternity stones, and the cost"-ish"?

I wish I could say that I did...I had looked at the ring in magazines and really liked it. Signed Pieces makes one for 1600 and WF will make it for just under 1900$. I wish I could help you more, let us know if you find anything out about it, I think the head on this one is nice.

What a beautiful shared prong ring!   I'm not sure of the particular specs, but I guarantee you could have it made by one of the Pricescope vendors for a good price.

I highly recommend Whiteflash because they have beautiful tiny melees that are all ideal cut and very sparkly!  Here's a picture of Whiteflash eternity ring similar to the one you posted.  Good luck in your search!

That's a typical shared prong eternity setting...SP makes it and probably almost anyone else could from one variation to another, the only real difference would be the head most likely and sizing of stones...I think if someone does something custom like that they should take the time and do a head that really looks unique and goes with the ring...but that's just my anal 'head' thoughts...I dislike the typical 4 or 6 prong heads without a bit of finesse.

Well sure, I know it's an easy enough design to replicate... my interest lies in knowing what weights THIS one displays, so I can get a better idea of my preferences. So far I'm wavering between slammie's 2-pointers and cel's 1-pointers. With only those two rings as examples, it's a tough decision! So I was hoping to get some more examples of either size.

Mara, I'm with you on creating something that makes it your "own"... :)

I suppose I'll have to call the vendors and find out! :)

Oh if it's pointers we are talking about, I will say that 1 pointers are TINY TINY TINY...almost like the size of my toe rings which are .008's. 2 pointers are what I have in my w-ring if that helps. They are pretty tiny too.

Have you tried on/seen 1 pointer's in person? i went to a jewerly store the other day and tried on a micro pave band. it's total width was less than 2mm. I didn't like how thin it was, it felt too light to me and it wasn't enough for my hand. I only ask because looking at pics here i thougth, the thinner the better, but in reality for me, and what looks good on me, there is a line that is too thin.

No, I haven't gotten to try them on in person. Sadly, I haven't seen any "great" jewelers around here -- maybe they're just hiding? The "best" I can do are Shane Co & Jared for selection... haven't seen Shane Co as it's a bit of a drive but wasn't particularly impressed with Jared last time I was in (not that I'd buy from there, anyway).

I wear a size 6 but won't be sporting a very large center stone, which is why I'm not sure. I thought 1-pts would set off the center nicely, like cel's ring. But then I worry about it being too thin, and lean towards 2-pts, like Mara and slammie's. :)

I have a little Fakey McFakerton where the little "shared prong" stones are about 1.5mm... which, as I look it up on cflutist's handy dandy mm conversion chart, is right smack dab in between 1 and 2 pointers, ha ha!

I have short fingers though so having the ultra thin band looks good on me, especially considering I'll be doubling up w/a wb after a while...

Aaaargh. Thoughts? Suggestions on where to try on pave/shared prong/similar settings in the metro Phoenix area? I'm lost.

~~Maybe you could send OGI Ltd. an inquiry about the ring... I don't know how soon they will respond, but it's worth a try!! Good Luck!!

I just email Shane Co since they're listed as OGI's authorized dealer and the OGI form says they'll just forward any inquiries about style info or prices. :) I'll let you know what I find out!

The last ring is set differently. I think it is another ring. They are both very dainty. I applaud your taste.

Really, platsmith? I think they look set the same. They both have that shared-prong with little scallops on the side of the band and a similar-looking head... hmm. If not, it's danged close, good job MS!

Rawr, it's hawt, isn't it? Still waiting to hear back from the company about the specs...

I love how in that last one Melissa posted they made sure to specify it was a 'HERS' ring...LOL like a guy would be caught wearing that?!?!?!

Ha, ha, "soon"? I guess that depends on who you're asking. Since you're asking me, I have no idea... but I can always hope!

But hey, if you hear from HIM, lemme know, hmm???!

PS, I've just been busy with work and school. I dunno how the other girls keep up with it--I'm exhausted!!

Hey there Blue, I still lurk on occasion, I try to keep up with the going-ons around here... I miss my OGs!

Geesh, still haven't heard anything about the ring's specs. Shane Co better hope I wasn't a hot buyer, or I'd've moved on already!!
