We are int he process of closing on our first ome together and I had asked the "Pricescope Fairy" to send us good vibes to make sure everything went well -- and they did!  We had our new home walkthrough and independant inspector inspection this past weekend and everything went smoothly.  The builder was great!  They were pointing out things that we wouldn't have even noticed or asked for -- they seemed really concerned about making sure we got a quality product, so we were really happy about that.  Anyway, the inspector took a few pics, and I took some too, but unfortunately I can't find my camera's transfer cord and can't get my pics ontomy comp.  But i'll post the inspectors pics since a few of ya'll asked me for photos.  Here's the floorplan for my place.  I love love love how spacious the master suite is....and check out that master closet! I practically had a closet big "O" when I first saw it.  THe little blocks you see are built ins... love it love it love it!

THis is the fron of our townhome.  I Loved the slate detailing around the front door and other places.  My FTB wants to put a gargoyle on top of our entry way uh...yeah, i belive i will evoke my veto privileges for that one.

THis is a very bad view of our great room (living and dinig room).  Its very open, with 10 ft ceilings and great windows that
open up to a balcony.  We loved how spacious every thing feels!
the other pic is from their website with their model furniture.  love the hardwood floors!  can you tell i'm excited?

Pic #1 of my kitchen -- which is HUGE and very open and very much a part of our living/dining are, which is great for our type of entertaining.  I really like allt eh counter space we were getting, and the tumbled marble backsplash and black granite   They' also threw in a stainless steel fridge as part of the deal to match the oven, microwave, and stove top.

It has a great window that I can look at, making dish washing less painful and you can see where the fridge is gonna go.  We tried to get a washer dryer for the wash room (which the pic is on the camer, but not on my comp ) but they said no.  boo.  oh well.

I love your townhouse! The kitchen totally reminds me of ours except we have a lighter granite and we have maple cabinets. We LOVE the island, once you have one, you get so spoiled. We actually look at new house plans now and go ...oh sorry we can't move there, it doesn't have an ISLAND!! We eat at our island too so it's very cozy on weekends.

I also love the spacious open living/dining/kitchen, ours is like that too in our fam and kitchen, it's so fun for entertaining...makes everyone feel involved rather than shut up in one room or another. We have a tri-level too but no bedroom downstairs, all three are upstairs. All those stairs make for a good workout!

Oh and that master closet is to die for!! Seriously, I'm warning you...all this awesome new-home living spoils you for the future. We have TWO master closets (so we each get one and mine has a window, hee hee)...so that's another thing that makes us go...oh sorry we could NEVER live there. I'd love for our next house to be an older tudor style or similar in a popular area here called the Rosegarden but they are all very old houses and we look at floorplans and wrinkle our noses. Who knows if we'll ever leave our place!

Congrats and HAVE FUN. Decorating and making it really yours is the best part!!

ETA: How did I miss the jacuzzi tub ? Love it! We have one too and during the winter we use it every weekend...it's very cozy and fits two along with our champagne and chocolate!! I used to always want to take baths but never had a good tub til now.

Thanks ya'll!!!  I am so friggin'  excited!!!

ame - we are closing on friday, so we'll move in as soon as we find somebody to lease my current condo.

mmm - this is in texas (could ya guess from the ya'll?) .  I would be ECSTATIC to post more pics....obviously the inspector didn't take any pics of the closets, that I did cuz he didn't care about them.  I' will definitly post detail pics ASAP after i locate my transfer cord!

Thanks everyone for your excitement.  We are so so so happy and sharing our excitement doubles, triples our happiness!  ANd super thanks to the PRicescope fairy!!!!!

Congratulations!  Looks very luxurous.

We also have a jet tub and I love it. . .but I want to warn you not to put too much bubble bath in!  lol  I bought origins ginger float and did as directed (put in a "generous" amount) and when I turned on the water jets, the bubbles started growing and growing. . .lol!  Bubbles everywhere!

Gosh, that didn't sound right....I meant to say it's QUITE an awesome starter house...you could live in that place forever, it's quite roomy, definitely with room to grow.

I love this! The flow is awesome for entertaining and the outside is so crisp...and those floors! I think the thing I love best to sparkle next to a diamond is a shiny, rich hardwood floor! Congrats to you!

ETA: Just saw the kitchen pix: gorgeous! LOVE the single slab granite counters too!...bath is luscious. Perfect!

Can I move in???????  I LOVE your new home.  Congratulations.  I especially love the outside color and material, it kind of Southwestern look.  Also love the hardwood floors, and the separate tub and shower.  That is a must for my next house.  Congrats again!

Tired of pix? You MUST be joking. I want to see everything including the closets LOL... and of course, MY guest room LOL

LOL...I will post my guest room that will be open to you and all other ps'ers at any time!!!

diamond princess - it'll be a while before we have a party, my little condo hand me down furniture so does not go with our new place.  so we're gonna slowly phase it out and bring in new stuff slowly, so that we can afford to buy nicer things.  but when we do -- ps wide invite!!!

mara - lol -- champagne and chocalate is exactly what i was planning!  i can't wait to start decorating.  i dragged ftb to a few furniture places already to window shop.  turns out our tastes are similar enough that there shouldn't be too much conflict (except for perhaps the gargoyle mentioned above).  I am so in love with our floor plan, I REALLY hope we don't get so spoiled that it'll be hard to find our final final home.  I'm also hoping to move into an older final home with lots of character and big yard.  The newer homes around here are all squeezed onto tiny lots where you can touch your neighbors house if you reach your arm out of your window .  That's ok for townhome living, but not for our home home, y'know?  No kidding about the stairs, not looking forward to moving our furniture .  Oh well, maybe it'll make me feel less guilty about never going to the gym .

michelle - lol -- i'lll keep that in mind!!  i could so seee myself overflowing the bathroom with bubbles!!!

jaysonsmom - we loved that although the place was very modern, it still has a warmer more traditional feel than most contemporary style places.  we're kind of traditional, but we're also young, so we thought it was the perfect mix of both styles!
