I will make this thread a yearly tradition so we can all talk about football. Whether it's professional / college / high school or even Pee Wee football. It's all good Please share your favorite teams. Everyone knows by now who my favorite team is. No comments Noobie. Raiders and the Patriots tonite. My son and my b/f love the Raiders so I am picking the Patriots...tee hee. Denise

If they win one more theyll have tied last year's record. Before last year they hadn't won a single game in over 30 games. I used to root for the St Mary's Dragons but he graduated.

My husband kids everyone that my favorite day of the year is the NFL draft. I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since we've been to the SuperBowl! My second favorite team used to be the Patriots but I don't have any respect for Tom Brady anymore since I found out he dated Tara Reid. Eeeewww!

As for college football, I have been and always will be an OSU Beaver fan. My dad's family is from Oregon and my grandparents live like 1 mile from OSU campus. I would've gone there for med school, but I didn't like the idea of living with my grandparents and my mom didn't want me to go so far away, although it would be rent-free.

My brother is a redshirt freshman, what that means is....he's on the team from his official freshman year on, technically 5 years, but because of NCAA rules hecannot set foot on the field during a game till his official sophomore year, so accdg to NCAA, he's a freshman in sports now. This spring they had a scrimmage and he played and made a great catch. He landed on the front of the Rolla newspaper, and pissed a few seniors off who had never been on the cover of any paper, especially not the town's paper. I took a photo of the article because they make you pay for "archives" and I have it at work on my work computer as a photo. OH, he's not a tight end anymore. He's a wide reciever again. He got his scholarship as a QB, they had too many so they moved him to WR, then to TE then back to WR. We considr him a slot receiver honestly. That said, here is the bitchin shot.

I don't know what UMR is though. Where is that? I'm not really up on College football. :) My fiance played one year of Division 3 college football. Then he got hurt I feel so bad for him, because I know how bad he misses playing.
