Maya Moonstone Cut Rock Total Posts: 212 Last Post: 10/21/2007 Member Since: 4/7/2005	Hi I am eagerly awaiting to receive my cushion cut diamond from Whiteflash! (Only 2 more sleeps - we are on vacation and I will receive it when we get home) I am starting to look at settings. Anybody have handshots of the Whiteflash W-prong? The cushion is rectangular and 1.51ct. I want to set it N-S. Do you think I would need a spacer with this set? http://www.whiteflash.com/jewelry_gallery/with%20matching%20bands/i_DSCN3792.jpg.aspx I wear gloves a lot - I am a scientist and work in a laboratory - and need a low set ring. Do you think the W-Prong is low compared to other solitaires? Also, I am afraid the e-ring will spin. Would a euro-shank (Square bottom) distract from this setting? I know, I should probably ask whiteflash, but since I have not met the diamond in person - but love the photos - and havenpt decided 100% yet to keep her, I am only being curious - and very excited! I CAN'T WAIT to see pics of that gorgeous stone! Scintillating... OH* Researcher did have to have a "special" spacer band created to go between her five stone band and her solitaire. Plus we are on vacation at the Oregon Coast and I don't have that much opportunity to go onto the net. I can not wait! I PM'ed with John from Whiteflash and he recommended the following: you have it mounted across your finger the same way as in the photo we sent: If you were to mount it longways and tilt it you might see a little leakage - just like with a long princess cut - but looking at it across the finger you will not. When I started my search for an upgrade diamond, I fell in love with the Tiffany rectangular Lucida, and that is what I planned on doing with this diamond. Anybody have any thoughts on what the impact of light leakage will be? Given that it is a cushion cut stone and not a RB? O yeah: what do you call the little wiry clamp ring that you get to wear the diamond before setting it? And where can I get it? I want to see how she will look on my finger and feel Thanks Maya
