    Hi Everyone
I am very close to purchasing my diamond and I want to buy a setting however the store I am at is quite expensive for settings. Does anyone know of any ring factories that might be able to get me a great setting at a good price?
Thanks so much.
Jeff

It seems as though most jewellery stores mark up their setting at ridiculous prices!

Hi and welcome to Pricescope. I would love to see you get some great responses to your question, but I'm not sure if there are a lot of people around here who will know of places with inexpensive settings in Toronto. The setting seems to be where any sort of jewellery store--even the online variety like Pricescope vendors--makes a lot of their money.

There are a couple of other Canadians who post regularly on the board, but I'm not sure who is specifically located in Toronto? Two Canadians I can think of off the top of my head who might have some suggestions are Canuk-gal and Gale, but I think Gale is from Hamilton and I'm not sure where Canuk-gal is from. There are names of a few good custom jewellers floating around, but these jewellers are not "cheap" specifically.

Anyway, I just wanted to reply to your post so that you don't feel snubbed if you don't get a lot of answers! We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Hi! I am not in Toronto, but in Montreal, where there is a jewelry building of suppliers from wholesale to retail. That's where I would start out to inquire if I were looking for a setting. I'm wondering if there is such a building or area in Toronto?
