 		Can someone explain what those strange notations, such as $1NR or $5NR, which are often appended to the title of eBay items, mean? I know they do mean something, but cannot recall the reason for those notations.

NR = No Reserve, as I recall.
$1NR = Bidding starts at $1 with No Reserve.
