White Gold turning yellow... |

Hi I recently got engaged and i have a 18k White gold ring and the back side is turning yellow, how do i prevent this... The diamond setter said he just dips it.. What does he dip it in.. Please let me know. I want a nice white ring for the wedding.

He will replate it with rhodium. It is not a mjor issue. If you do a search about white gold turning yellow you will find a ton of threads about this.

You jeweler will rhodium plate your ring to give it that nice white shiny look. I also have a WG w-set that needs rhodium plating from time to time...this is quite normal and very easy to do.
