I fell in love with this gown when I saw it...was going to wear my mom's gown (also all lace) (then found a great romona keveza on ebay) but wanted something a little more racy. I may wear her veil tho..it's plain cathedral length..I'm also getting some silk tulle samples in... lol!! Rube, it's just a tad too late for you to change your mind now....thanks for posting my pic and good luck this weekend!!!! I'll be thinking of you!

WHen you posted that you had a liancarlo dress I thought, wouldn't it be funny if it was the dress that I tried on and loved? AND IT IS!!!! I loved loved loved the pleated hem and the lace and the sleek shape. unfortunately, the boutique i tried it on at was, shall we say "annoying", and I had NO desire to give them my money. So unforunately the dress fell by the wayside. But now I'm so FRICKIN" HAPPY I get to see it on someone else!!!! You are going to loook so gorgeous! You better post pics ASAP!!!

Bright Spot.. how does it stay up? It's got some boning in the bodice and actually feels pretty secure. I did a little 'dance test' at the salon and it checked out. GingerB!! Didn't you just love it?? I understand about not wanting to give your $$ to certain bridal places..there are some really terrible salespeople/salons out there (and I'll leave it at that...) I'm having an inch of organza added to the neckline (for dramatic effect lol) and they are removing the strings (why are they even there) that hang down on the lower back. Blueroses...thank you!! I love the pleats at the bottom too...so soft and romantic.

In celebration, my fiance and I broke out the ice cream machine last night and made mint choc chip. HA! Here's some pics from the first fitting! My seamstress was an absolute sweetie.
